Ben Watkins is an actor and filmmaker from Berkeley , CA . He studied theater and film at UC Berkeley.  While there he worked with renowned directors Gilbert McCauley and Margaret Wilkerson. He also wrote and performed a one-man show entitled “Forty Minutes of Revolution,” under the direction of Roger Guenveur Smith.  From 1999 to 2001, Watkins guest starred on numerous episodic television programs, including “JAG”, “Moesha”, and “City Guys”.  Watkins wrote and produce the short film, “Quest to Ref” in 2002, which was a film festival favorite. “Quest” won the 2002 American Black Film Festival HBO short film award and was selected for the 2003 Sundance Film Festival.  Ben also appeared as Dr. Wesley Carter on “The Young and The Restless”.
Laz Alonso hails from Washington D.C. and is a graduate of Howard University .  Alonso began his career as a television host for BET.  He would soon have featured roles in the films: “Disappearing Acts (2000)”, “30 Years to Life” (2001), “Crime Partners” (2001) and a starring role in the cult classic “Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood” (2003).  He is also starring in a handful of other films due for future release.  His television credits include: “One on One”, “Half & Half”, “Soul Food”, “The Practice”, and “CSI: Miami”. Laz has also recently starred in the films "Jarheard" (2005), "Stomp the Yard" (2007), and the forthcoming Bullz Eye Productions release "Divine Intervention" (2007).
Shawna Rodgers, a multi-talented, fresh-faced, newcomer was born in Birmingham , Alabama and graduated from Howard University with a B.F.A. degree in acting.  Rodgers has appeared in several stage plays and has made appearances on the television shows: “Boston Public”, “The Parkers”, and “American Idol”.  Shawna also has television commercials to her credits and will appear in the forthcoming film “Quiet Dignity”.
Mailon Rivera is a Brooklyn, New York native with many credits to his name.  Some of Rivera’s memorable roles are: Nation of Islam leader, Min. Xavier Salaam on the award winning drama series “The Shield” to his comedic turn as the hilarious and flamboyant “Omar K. Bone” on the new UPN series “Second Time Around”, with “Soul Food” stars Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker.  Mailon is also the lead and one of the producers of the psychological thriller “Skin Deep”, winner of awards at the 2003 American Black Film Festival and several other festivals.  Among Mailon's many television credits are appearances on such top shows as “Without a Trace”, “Friends”, “Cedric…Presents”, “Party of Five”, “Seinfeld”, “3rd Rock from the Sun”, “Nash Bridges”, “The Parkers”,  “VIP”, “Alien Nation”, “Mad About You”, the MTV original series “Spyder Games” and 6 seasons as the recurring character, “Latrelle Shabazz” on the HBO comedy series “Arli$$”.  To learn more about Mailon, visit his official website: www.mailonrivera.com
Todd Bridges’ acting career began at age six and he went on to make some remarkable strides in the industry, pioneering the way for other young, black actors.  He first appeared in a Jell-O commercial and later accomplished over 60 national commercials. Todd was the first black child actor to become a reoccurring regular on the hit series, “The Waltons” and “Little House On The Prairie”.  He went on to guest star on “Barney Miller” and it’s spin-off titled “Fish” and Todd became a series regular for four years. He would eventually gain international status for his role on the long running; hit television series “Diff’rent Strokes”.  His recent film credits include “ 1210 Camille Street ” with Faizon Love, “Frat, Hollywood Horror” with Tia and Tamara Mowry , and “A Testimony”.  He also directed, along with his brother, a feature film titled “ Full Circle ”.  His directorial credits also include the feature film, “Flossin”.
Janora McDuffie is originally from Durham , North Carolina .  After graduating with a degree in Performance Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she made Los Angeles her home where she's performed in several stage plays and graced both the small screen and the silver screen.  Some of her recent credits include “Firefly” (FOX), “See Arnold Run” (A&E), “The Message”, “Uncle P” and the feature film, “Big Ain't Bad”.  To learn more about Janora, visit her official website: www.janoramcduffie.com
Lisa DeWitt (producer/actor) was born and raised on the island town of Alameda , CA.  After a successful career in the corporate world, Lisa eventually discovered her passion for acting in 1997 when she performed her first lead stage role in the psychological drama “Do You Have Time To Die” by Imani Harrington at the Black Repertory Theater in Berkeley , CA .  She continued to study acting and perform in community theater productions, voiceover commercials, and independent film projects in the Bay Area. She starred in her first independent action feature film, ”Simple & Safe”, directed by Ryan McKinney, playing a bad girl CIA agent.  Lisa moved to Los Angeles in December of 2002 to further her acting opportunities and shortly after met Director, Van Elder and teamed with him to produce “Issues”, for which she was also featured in the role of Mrs. Jones.  Lisa also acted was an Associate Producer on Elder’s award winning short film, “Out of Body Experience”.  To learn more about Lisa, visit her official website: www.lisadewitt.com
